PlumbRoute ("PlumbRoute," "we," "us") operates plumbroute.com, a referral service that helps homeowners request a connection with independent local plumbing service providers. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and who we share it with.
When you call the phone number displayed on this site or submit a request, we (or our call-routing provider) may collect the phone number you call from, the service you're requesting, and your general location (such as city or ZIP). When you browse the site, we automatically collect standard analytics information such as pages viewed, referring page, device/browser type, and approximate location, through Google Analytics. We do not currently operate lead-capture forms that collect your name or email address; if that changes, this policy will be updated to describe the fields collected and how consent is captured.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, including which pages are viewed and whether a visitor clicks a call button. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may process data outside the country you're located in. We do not currently use advertising pixels or retargeting tags. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
We use the information above to route your call or request to an independent local plumbing provider or provider network that services your area, to operate and improve the site, and to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
When you call or request a connection, your phone number and the details of your request are shared with the independent local provider or provider network we route you to, so they can respond to your request. We may share aggregate or de-identified analytics data with service providers who help us operate the site (such as our analytics and hosting providers). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We retain call-routing and request records for as long as reasonably needed to support the referral, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations, and we retain aggregate analytics data in line with our analytics provider's standard retention settings.
You can decline cookies in your browser, use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and contact us at the address below to ask what information we have connected to a specific phone number or request. If you are a resident of a state with statutory privacy rights (such as access, deletion, or opt-out of sale/sharing), contact us and we will respond consistent with applicable law; we do not sell personal information as defined under those laws.
This site is intended for adults arranging home repair services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
